According to the Italian National Institute of Statistics about 9% of businesses with more than 10 employees do sell online. If to focus on export the scenario doesn’t get any brighter: for example, within the Food and Beverage sector the percentage of businesses exporting varies between 5% and 33% depending on their size (i.e.: respectively less than 10 employees or between 10 and 49 employees). This is a surprising situation given the perception of high quality that the “Made in Italy” has across the world.

We serve a portfolio of Italian suppliers operating across Food and Beverage, Cosmetic and Fashion sectors. Our services range from helping these suppliers to identify potential foreign buyers to supporting them during the phase of negotiation and finalisation of a contract.
COMPETENCIES

We combine the best of the “two worlds”. Having born and lived for sometimes in the centre of Italy we fully understand its economy and key suppliers for both our eshop as well as for exporting abroad. On the other hand, having a local presence in the UK and in other countries enables us to assess thoroughly, and closely, the level of attractiveness for a specific product.

Social media are now an integral part of any business growth plan. Through the use of these tools, like for example Linkedin, we carefully research and select potential buyers in addition to existing contacts we already have.

Thank to various databases at our disposal we are able to monitor the evolution of the “Made in Italy” at product level: in specific, we can quickly understand which geographies are attractive for which products. Additionally, we map existing pricing practices and evaluate which distribution channels are more suitable to our clients’ products.
